Restaurants in Argentina dinning eatingThe good eats of Patagonia are spread throughout the territories, but are probably best known to be located in Bariloche and those far far south lands of Tierra del Fuego. Generally their best meals come directly from the hard work of many of Patagonia’s cattle raising inhabitants. Beef, is a must in Argentina, and in Patagonia specifically. An Argentina asado is not only giving you an insight into their food, but also into their philosophy on life and their culture. It is as much of a social thing as it is a food thing and there is ALWAYS enough meat to go around. Some of the closest dining experiences you can find to the real asado are in Patagonia. El Boliche de Alberto located in Bariloche is possibly one of the most infamous steak houses in the country. The food is amazing and the portion sizes are impressive. In most of those restaurants you will also find delicious wines and mouth watering desserts to match any meal. Kaupé located in Ushuaia was named the best restaurant in all of Argentina back in 2005 and definitely lives up to that reputation

If it is seafood that you are craving then you may want to hold off until you get onto the Atlantic sea side of Patagonia. In the town of Puerto Madryn you will find a restaurant called Vesta which has some of the best views in town. While dining over the catch of the day you can enjoy the live music while ooohing and aaahing over the performance of the whales that jump in the water right in front of you.
