At the end of every month there is a critical mass bike ride which lasts 3 hours and ventures around the streets of Buenos Aires, last time I went there were a couple of thousand cyclists of all ages, starting at the obelisco down to puerto madero back throught the centre up to palermo and back. They do a night ride on the full moon as well, there are bike rentals available just look them up on fb. Magic!
