[...] Attend Opera Bay’s “Office Hour” on a Wednesday night. Buenos Aires has often been referred to as a Circadian Rhythm nightmare for foreigners who are accustomed to bars closing around 2 am. Most bars and clubs really don’t get going until the wee hours of the morning here, and you may find yourself frustrated by your body’s inability to sleep when you will it to after three weekend nights out until 7 am. Enter Office Hour, the Porteño counterpart to “Happy Hour” in the States. You get to enjoy the bar/club scene for a full five hours, including free cover (before 8:30 pm), AND manage eight hours of sleep, while still waking up early enough the following day to make the most of the sunlight. If that’s not enough of an argument to partake in Opera Bay’s Wednesday night festivities, consider the extremely good-looking clientele looking to work off some stress from the office with a cold Iguana on the dance floor.
[...] Finally, I found myself walking into what was supposedly one of Buenos Aires’ more exclusive nightspots. As I walked into the main room, I was struck by how attractive the Argentinean race really was, and how much time everyone obviously spends on preening themselves for a night out (males included). The DJ was spinning great house beats, the dance-floor was moving rhythmically, the drinks were flowing, pairs were matching up and the disco ball above the main dance-floor was spinning.
Ernesto,
I agree that in some countries people are much nicer. For instance, I've been to the US and at least from my own experience, Americans are friedlier. Argentines in general tend to be quite bitter and unfriendly, not to mention rude. Without a doubt, many argentines should learn some manners.... If you disagree with any of this, I suggest you take off your rose-colored glasses and go watch the behavior of the people in the street. Only then will you realize how rude argentines are. Just to give you an idea, Argentines bump into each other all the time and rarely apologize.

I agree with Carlos that "there’s a tendency among foreigners to see Argentina through rose-colored glasses".

Also, Argentinians seem nice to gringos because their basis for comparison is Americans or Europeans. After being in Cuba, Colombia and other countries I can say (and without meaning to offend) that Argentinians are NOT "so nice".

I don't think Argentine women are as pretty as you claim. The majority of them are NOTHING like the models you see on TV or in magazines. I mean, you only have to go out a little and look at the average woman on the street. I really don't understand why some foreigners find them so attractive.
Besides, Argentine women are quite an homogeneous group. This means that there's very little diversity, both in looks and personalities. Most of them seem to look, think and act the same. I think many foreigners see them as beautiful because they buy into that stereotype of the hot latin woman. Based on my years of experience here, let me tell you that the typical Argentine female is far from it. They are extremely complicated and hysterical. If in doubt, ask any male who has had experience with them.
In my opinion, there's a tendency among foreigners to see Argentina through rose-colored glasses. But once the initial fascination wears off, things stop looking perfect and reality hits hard.
Just my two cents.

[...] 6. The People in Argentina are GORGEOUS Have you heard of Yamila Diaz, Valeria Mazza, and Luján Fernández? Well, I know I haven’t, but that did not stop my jaw from constantly hitting the sidewalk when I was just trying to mind my own business on the streets in Buenos Aires. Along with chiseled bone structure, slender body types, and some of the most manicured men and women I’ve shared public space with, the euro-inspired Argenitine culture is one of eye popping fashion. This should speak volumes: they rock the mullet and it works. Read this article » [...]

All that reasons are good but don’t forget the architecture, history and good cultural events in Buenos Aires. There is also a very good variety of shows, theater, expositions, and museums, of excellent level and at very reasonable prices.
