The famous English architect Norman Foster is designing apartments in Buenos Aires in the expensive and ritzy barrio of Puerto Madero. According to the Clarín, he is designing Aleph Residencias, which will cost 6,000 dollars per square meter. Foster won the Henry Fellowship to study at the Yale School of Architecture and went on to found the now prestigious architectural firm Foster and Partners. Foster’s work includes the main hall of the British Museum, the Millennium Bridge over the Thames River, and Wembley Stadium. Aleph Residencias will have a grand central patio and 57 distinct apartments, with space for stores on the ground floor. According to Foster, he is seeking to find a balance between community and privacy, residency and hotel. The building joins the works of many other famous architects, situated in Puerto Madero.
